Train the Trainer
This course provides a practical approach to the introduction of training fundamentals for individuals who already possess content mastery and who are practitioners in their related field with a desire to apply training principles and guidelines in building the capacity and improving the performance level of a targeted work force. Primarily, the Train the Trainer course will be delivered using a Competency-Based Education and Training methodology. The training course focuses on CBET methodology as well as the fundamental areas of planning and delivering training sessions. This training will therefore be targeting the building of competencies essential to effectively design, defend and deliver a moderate training session as an intervention for adult learners utilsing a variety of training techniques and methods. Participants will be required to fully participate in structured learning activities aimed at enhancing competencies in utilising content and context appropriate techniques and methods. At the end of the training, participants are expected to use CBET methodology in planning and delivering training
