Dr.Delize Williams

Principal

Dr. Delize Williams is the Principal of VTDI, where she leads the institution’s strategic direction and academic development. With a background in computer science and education, she champions innovation in technical and vocational training. Her leadership has driven key partnerships and modernized VTDI’s approach to blended learning.

VP Academics

Dr. Jacqueline Wallder serves as the Vice Principal-Academics at VTDI, where she oversees academic programs and initiatives. Her research on integrating Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) into Jamaica's secondary schools has been published in the Journal of Arts, Science, and Technology. Dr. Wallder is also an advocate for institutional collaboration, exemplified by her involvement in partnerships like the MOU between VTDI and the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts.

Ms.Carolyn O'Connor

VP Administration

Ms. Carolyn O'Connor serves as the Vice Principal of Administration at VTDI, overseeing the institute's operational and administrative functions. With a background in education management and a PMP certification, she has been instrumental in streamlining processes and enhancing institutional efficiency. Her leadership has been pivotal in supporting initiatives like the Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) program, reflecting her commitment to professional development and organizational excellence.

Mrs. Paula Green

Leadership Management

With a management and educational leadership background, Mrs. Green plays a pivotal role in solidifying the Extension Site as a foremost provider of TVET in the Southwest Region. Her unwavering commitment and dedication to workforce development are central to fulfilling the professional development needs of the region's workforce and high school graduates. She continues the Extension Site's legacy as a dynamic and responsive centre for learning and skills development, empowering people and transforming lives.

Ms. Sharon Hephzibah

Direcotr, Human Resource

Ms. Sharon Elaine Hephzibah our Director, Human Resource Management brings over 30 years of HR expertise to deliver transformative, values-driven interventions in the workspace. She is dedicated, passionate and committed to fostering a workplace environment and facilitating human resource policies, practices and programmes that will create and maintain an engaged and team spirited workforce.

Mr. Kenrick Plummer

Financial Operations

Mr. Plummer oversees VTDI’s financial management and accounting operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accuracy in reporting. As former Chief Accountant/Bursar (Temporary), he has supported budgeting, audit processes, and strategic financial planning. His leadership in finance strengthens VTDI’s institutional stability and supports its long-term objectives.

Mr. Milton Campbell

Manager, Quality Assurance

Mr. Milton Campbell is a trained educator with over a decade of exposure in government administration, policy development and risk management. In his current capacity he leads risk management initiatives to support the fulfillment of making the VTDI the premier tertiary institution in the 21st century
