Programme Overview
The Associate Degree in Information and Communication Technology is designed to provide students with hands-on skills in programming, networking, web design, and databases. Offered by the Vocational Training Development Institute (VTDI), this 2-year programme equips students with practical experience in key areas of modern computing, preparing them for careers in IT support, web development, database administration, and graphic design. The ICT programme is outcomes-based and aligned with Jamaica's national development priorities in digital transformation and innovation.
Entry Requirements- Five (5) CSEC or GCE O'Level subjects including Mathematics and English Language
- Mature entry/non-traditional qualifications
- Duration: 2 Years Full-Time (5 semesters including summer)
- Duration: 7 Semesters Part-Time (evenings and weekends)
- Delivery: Face-to-Face and Blended
