Animation & Game Design Summer Programme
Programme Overview
The Animation & Game Design Summer Programme is a two-week introductory course perfect for visual arts students in secondary schools who are eager to explore creative careers in digital media. Offered by the Vocational Training Development Institute (VTDI), participants will learn the fundamentals of drawing, principles of animation, and basics of game design through three interactive modules. The course includes a hands-on field trip to the National Gallery of Jamaica and concludes with an exhibition and awards ceremony.
Entry Requirements- Visual Arts Students in Secondary Schools
- Duration: 2 Weeks (July 7–18, 2025)
- Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Modules: Fundamentals of Drawing, Principles of Animation, Introduction to Game Design
- Field Trip: July 9, 2025 (10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) - National Gallery of Jamaica
- Exhibition: Awards Ceremony - August 2025
